Hair Apprentices are the next generation of Hair Stylists and at Obsession Salon & Spa we pride ourselves on having a supportive programme for all of our Hair Apprentices.

We have a continuous influx of hair apprentices who often join us straight from school, working in the salon and studying for their formal qualifications at the same time.

When Charlotte first joined us as a hairdressing apprentice, she brought with her a genuine love for hair. Over the past few years, she’s thrown herself into learning every aspect of the craft, from precision cuts to beautiful blow-dries and also begun to learn the technical science of colour.

Developing skills as a Hair Apprentice

As a L’Oreal salon we receive regular training from L’oreal on new colour techniques and from Kerastase about how to care for hair of all types. Charlotte has absorbed all the information and spent her time on the salon floor, shadowing our experienced stylists in order to perfect her skills and build her confidence.

During her hair apprenticeship, Charlotte has:

✅Learned how to deliver our unique Obsession Welcome Massage
✅ Mastered the foundations of cutting for all hair types and lengths
✅ Developed impressive styling skills for blow-dries
✅ Learned how to mix, apply, and care for colour
✅ Gained invaluable experience in client consultation and delivering an exceptional salon experience
