Facial in Lichfield: Why September is the perfect time to give your skin some extra care
What a summer it’s been! After some incredibly hot weather and unbearable heatwaves, your skin may be feeling the effects as we move into Autumn.

“I’ve been working in the beauty industry for over 20 years now and I always advise that this is the best time of year to have a facial. It’s a chance to look at what your skin needs after the dehydrating effects of the summer and it’s also a good time to nourish your skin and prepare it for the cooler months ahead.
Dee’s simple skin check at home
Look: Does your skin look dull or tired rather than fresh and radiant?
Touch: Does your skin feel smooth and comfortable, or slightly rough and uneven?
Think about your skincare: Are your usual products still giving you the same results?
If you’ve answered yes to one or more, it may be time to give your skin some professional attention. This isn’t a diagnosis, but these quick checks can be a useful sign that your skin needs some attention.
What does your skin need after summer?
