What is Kerastase K-Scan?

Kerastase K-Scan is a diagnostic tool that scans, analyses, predicts and prescribes. Next time you’re in salon you’ll probably see the K-Scan in use. It’s a handheld scanner that our stylists can use to provide you with a live picture of your scalp in minute detail. The K-Scan is powered by a smart camera, microscopic images and AI analysis. This clever combination allows you and your stylist to see what condition your scalp is in. It can detect:

• Redness
• Irritation
• Bacteria
• Scalp hydration
• Oil levels
• Dandruff or flakiness
• Density and thinning areas

The images are instantly processed and shared with you, and we’ll carry out a bespoke consultation at the same time focusing on your specific hair care concerns and needs. Your stylist will then share the results of these two diagnostic tools and together you can discuss a personalised treatment plan to get your scalp and hair back to tip-top condition.

How quick is the process?

We’d recommend allowing half an hour for the full consultation, including the scanning and the consultation.
